Andrew & Emma's Wedding, and a trip to Yorkshire
Last weekend we welcomed another Merritt into the family when Andrew and Emma got married at Ghyll Manor near Horsham.
Emma looked lovely, and surprisingly Andrew didn't scrub up too badly either!
Craig rues the fact that champagne flutes are too narrow to hide behind... Either that or his head is too big...
Then it was up to Yorkshire for a few days, via Warwick Castle.
As usual, Craig was busy messing around...
...So Sharon left him behind for a while...
Craig wishes he had longer arms so he could actually get a decent picture.
Then it was on to York, where we visited Clifford's Tower, the Castle Museum, Betty's Tea Rooms (for lots of yummy scones!), York Minster and the Shambles.
Sharon on top of Clifford's Tower.
York Minster contained some beautiful stained glass windows... Well, the ones we could see that weren't being renovated, anwayway!
Apparently you can see for 40 miles from the top of York Minster... But it was more like 40 metres on the grey murkey day we were there!
Next it was on to Ripon to see the Cathedral there, before heading up to Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal.
Then Craig dragged Sharon around the Royal Armouries in Leeds.
Sharon decided she wanted a plate-armour gauntlet for the next time she had to clean the bathroom...
