At last, another Post!! Better late than never

We promised you honeymoon pictures back in November - and now it's February!! Where has the time gone!

We had a fantastic honeymoon in the Maldives. Our villa had its own jacuzzi and we stepped straight out onto the beach with the sea just 10 metres away. The All Inclusive was put to good use and our friendly waiter had always brought the next drink before we'd finished the first - whether we wanted it or not.

Even in the Maldives, Sharon managed to find a pair of chopsticks and a Chinese Restuarant. Impressive on an island less than 1km long.

Sharon has a talent for attracting some sort of danger or saga when she travels and the honeymoon was no exception. The first time we ventured out to the reef with our snorkels, Sharon managed to get bitten by b) - the triggerfish. So much for Jaws - the sharks we saw all swam away from us but the Triggerfish was a different kettle of fish (sorry, couldn't resist). Sharon wasn't even aware she was near a fish until it bit her with its pin like teeth. Luckily the flipper took the worst of it, but one tooth did pierce the rubber and she still has the scar 3 months later. In her panic, she almost drowned Craig trying to climb up him to get away from the triggerfish. Apparently husbands make very good decoys!
